Friends forever? Who knows
It's funny how fragile a friendship can be, it can take years just to build up a strong friendship
yet the simplest of misunderstandings can make it crumble down. All this years I've had friends walk in and out of my life and sometimes it makes wonder when the people around me now would just drift away. Maybe after I grad, maybe when I'm in NS, maybe after I find a stable job or maybe even after I get married.Who would be the ones left by my side to see me through till I lie on my death bed.
In the years to come, would we be even called friends? or just smile at each other when we walk pass.I don't really know how people can take friendship for granted.
What if the people around me took my friendship just as lightly? Honestly I would feel miserable.
In the past few years, I've seen many friendships turn sour. Some to the extent that both parties had never existed in each other’s life, Or even maybe those who just keep running and avoiding each other. Why do relationships caused by some trivial misunderstanding turn into lifelong grudges. How would you face this situation? Would you run away from the problem or strive to save your friendship.
Maybe I’ve yet to see enough of this world and see how realistic people can be. Or maybe all this while I've just been too naive. Think about it, why do the people you hold so close to your heart just walk away without looking back. Are holding grudges towards one another just a sign to show your superiority or your immaturity? Or to prove who's right and who's wrong.
Just how much does a friendship mean to you,
maybe it's time you gave it a long thought.
